No matter what the weather or season, your family and friends will have a wonderful vacation in this charming, well-decorated home, equipped with TVs/VCRs in each bedroom, Greatroom with VCR/DVD, Stereo, Videos, Games, and books and queen sofa bed. Home has 4 Decks all furnished with deck furniture. Bottom Floor has washer/dryer and master suite with duo-bunk, and twin bed, with a full bath, patio and picnic table and grill with well-stocked fishing pond with fountain. Second Floor has 2 Master suites, one Queen suite with jacuzzi bath and separate shower, the Balcony comes with a cushioned porch swing and glass table with 4 cushioned chairs, the other suite is 2 twin beds with balcony and full bath. The great room has a beautiful large glass dining room table that seats 8 and a kitchen equipped with modern appliances to include, microwave, large electric stove, 20 cu ft refrigerator with ice maker, breakfast bar for 3, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, mixer and lots of pots and pans for cooking, and is stocked with place settings for 12, and beach chairs for use. This home offers amenities galore. Directly across the street from the Corolla Light Fitness Center, open year-round with Olympic-size indoor pool, large jacuzzi, indoor clay tennis courts, racquet-ball courts, weight room and game room. In-Season (June to Labor Day) trolley delivers guests to the Oceanfront Country Club in less than five minutes, that offers life guarded beach access, 2 large pools and 1 kiddie pool, game room, playground, basketball courts, shuffle board, miniature golf, Poolside restaurant with waitress service, 2nd floor balcony restaurant/bar, Tiki Bar with ice cream, sno-cones and snacks. Weekly activities to include music, bingo, and other games. Home is close to the Currituck Lighthouse, SUV Beach access to areas with wild horses, communities only accessible by SUV and great fishing. Corolla Light is an up-scale community with nearby Tim-Buck-Two shopping, sound side water activities to include kayak rentals, windsurfing, boat rentals and lots more. 10 minute drive to Duck, 20-minute drive to South shore restaurants in Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills, and other touristic areas. Check-in Saturday after 4:00. Check-out the following Saturday before 10:00.

Corolla Light is a year-round premier resort community. The extensive amenities include 3 oceanfront pools, an oceanfront baby pool, clubhouse with grill and café, indoor game room, shuffleboard courts, basketball courts, children’s playground, 4 outdoor hard surface tennis courts, 3 outdoor hydro clay courts, lighted walking, bike paths and jogging trails, plus a sound-side pool. Their indoor sports center houses an 8 lane pool, large hot spa, 2 clay tennis courts (fee for indoor tennis), racquetball courts, wolleyball court, aerobics, and fitness rooms and saunas.

Great Out-door fun at the Ocean-side Swimming pools. Beach access, Baby pool, Out-door upper-level ocean view restaurant, deck waitress service, out-door showers, scheduled activities, tiki bar with ice cream and sno-cones, char-grilled burgers, fresh seafood, kids meals, etc.

Corolla Light Sports Center is located directly across the street from the house. Go play tennis, racquetball, or ping pong, swim, lift weights or relax in the large hot tub. Enjoy a game of miniature golf next door to the center. Bikes or roller blades can be rented nearby to take advantage of the bike/jogging trails. Rental equipment available.

How to Get Here…

Directions: Driving: Take I-95 south to Richmond, then pick up I-295 south. Continue to I-64 east toward Williamsburg/Norfolk/Virginia Beach. Follow I-64/I-664
to Chesapeake, then head south on I-168, which is the Chesapeake Expressway; $2 toll each way. After you cross from Virginia into North Carolina, I-168 becomes US 158 east. Continue until you reach the Outer Banks. Once in the Outer Banks, take Route 12 North towards Duck and Corolla. After passing the Corolla Light Entrance sign, take the second right onto Mirage Drive and take an immediate right. The house is the 3rd house on the left, located at 1051 Mirage Drive. The Sports Complex is directly across the street.

TimBuck II – Located on the Currituck Sound and offering an array of shops, restaurants and activities. You will find everything from beach supplies, designer interiors, to beautiful beach outerwear in stores such as Gray’s, The Cotton Gin, Corolla Book and Card, Get The Picture, Joan’s, Exotic Cargo, the Gourmet Kitchen Emporium, Wild Horses, Carolina Moon, Beachy Keen, Try My Nuts, Corolla Surf Shop, Nags Head Hammocks, Island Tobacco and Tar Heel Trading Company, just to name a few. Also, for the active ones in the family, Kitty Hawk Sports and Kitty Hawk Kites offer hang gliding, kayak ecotours, and wall climbing. Go-karting, paddle boats, bicycle rentals and an 18 hole miniature golf course are available as well. For quick drinks, snacks and gas dive through the Outer Banks famous Brew-thru located beside Good Vibes Video. Hungry? Full dinners are available at Groupers, Route 12, JK’s, Turfs Up and North Banks. Lighter fare is available at Giant Slice, and Leo’s. And for a relaxing dinner at home, visit Steamers Shellfish To Go. Top the evening off with ice cream from Big Bucks or fudge from the Fudgery. Pamper yourself at the Hairicanes Spa.

Monteray Plaza – Featuring a Food Lion, a 4 plex movie theatre and a great choice of shops and restaurants. If you want outdoor fun, go by Outer Banks Outdoors and TW’s Bait and Tackle. Need a bathing suit or a new outfit? Try Birthday Suites, Donna Designs, Ocean Threads, or Just for the Beach. And, don’t forget all those special people at home – stop by T/Shirt World or Ocean Annies for some great gifts. The restaurants include: Lighthouse Bagel, Bacchus Wine and Cheese, LaFogota, Smokey’s, Corolla Café, Tomato Patch, Weeping Radish, and Whalehead Pizza. If you are in the mood to cook your own dinner, stop by the Dockside North for fresh seafood. Across the street you will find the Bank of Currituc, Ace Hardware and Wings.

Corolla Light Village Shops -- Small but quaint, Corolla Light Village has various shops such as Mango’s Boutique, Beach Cove, Something Cool, Mustang Sally’s and Ocean Threads. For the surfers, Corolla Surf Shop offers everything for your day at the beach. Forget something? Don’t worry, Ocean Atlantic Rentals can help you out. They offer everything from linens and baby needs to beach equipment and video rentals. You will also find delicious food at Nicoletta’s, Cosmo’s Pizza, Horeshoe Café and the Corolla Bakery. Just down the road you will find the Whalehead Club, Currituck Lighthouse, and the Village of Corolla with it’s Post Office, Wee Winks, Texaco gas, Corolla Pizza, miniature golf, ATV tours and an ice cream shop.
